Dear Readers,

This new special issue on Neuropathology is at your desktop and doorstep. The purpose of taking this mammoth task was to give the readers a glimpse of the newer aspects in this specialized field. Also, since the new World Health Organization (WHO) book is recently published, the topics included in this issue would provide an insight as well as better understanding of the newer advances and modifications made compared to the older system. Newer entities, histological variants, molecular and genetic features, and extensive description of each entity form the basis of this special issue. Budding pathologists and postgraduates would be greatly benefitted by reading this publication.

The entire issue has been subdivided into three sections – neoplasms of CNS, non-neoplastic disorders of CNS, and neuromuscular disorders. The full spectrum of neurological diseases is covered in this publication. The editorial team for this unique issue was specially designed with stalwarts contributing to articles, reviewing these submitted manuscripts and the entire process monitored and supervised by co-editors.

I am sure that this Neuropathology special issue of IJPM would help the readers in gaining an introspection of pathologies of the nervous system.

Jai Hind!
